Yes, you need a car seat, crib and stroller but I think often times influencers convince you that you need all of these certain products or you just won’t survive motherhood (I mean it is literally their job). I am here to break down the actual necessities and items you might not think of.

2. Dreft Stain Remover

Babies are messy. Whether it’s spit up or half of their meal, it’s inevitable. You will need stain remover. I have tried a few, but in my opinion, this is my favorite. Dreft is hypoallergenic, dye- free and plant-based. I have yet to come across a stain that I wasn’t able to remove with the stain remover.

This nipple butter saved my life. My baby had SO many feeding issues. Like so many. He had trouble latching due to a tongue and lip tie so he basically destroyed my nipples (TMI). This nipple butter is so soothing and the best part is it is organic. I tried so many nipple creams, believe me this is the best. Once I decided to become an exclusive pumper, I still used this butter to relieve the dryness!

Yes, this seems so simple but you will thank me later. These pacifiers save you from searching in the dark or shining your bright light in your babies face. We didn’t get these until our baby was about 7 months old (we didn’t know they existed). We constantly were shining our light to find the missing binkies when we could have had these all along. They are so affordable and always a perfect gift for you or that momma in your life.
5. Automatic Trashcan

You do NOT need the Diaper Genie. We have dogs and have never had an issue with this trashcan. It’s so convenient to be able to wave your hand over the trashcan and toss your diaper. Especially when your baby becomes a wiggle worm, you never have to step away from the changing table to step on the pedal to open the can. This trashcan is literally half of the price of the Diaper Genie and you already have the trash bags you’ll need at home. And no, his nursery doesn’t smell!
6. Kitchen Sink Bottle Rinser

This product has ABSOLUTELY changed the game of bottle washing. We put off buying this for so long but it has become a necessity in our house. We are constantly washing bottles and this has cut down our bottle washing by literally half. You have to have a sink that it will hook into but installation took my husband less than 10 minutes.
7. AngelCare Baby Bathtub

I thought we needed an actual baby bathtub so of course we got one. Turns out he would slide down and almost go underwater every time. As a new mom, I would have a heart attack every time we bathed him. We eventually found this Angelcare bath seat and instantly fell in love. He never slides down in it and seems to be way more comfortable in it and for less than $20? It couldn’t be more perfect.
8. Earth Mama Milkmaid Tea

I always had a good milk supply but was constantly searching for ways to increase it. I tried product after product, increasing my fluid intake, etc. and this product helped me become an oversupplier. I was able to freeze so much of my milk and end my breastfeeding journey early. I would recommend this product to everyone.
9. Baby Play Pen

If you have animals this is a perfect product to ensure your baby stays safe. Especially once your baby begins to become mobile, it is nice to have a safe place for them. I know that when I put my baby in his play pen to do dishes or the laundry, I don’th need to worry about him finding an electrical outlet or something on the ground to eat.
10. Frida Mom Disposable Underwear
